The Indigo Project Art Program is rooted in the Waldorf approach to arts-based education and the concept of Creative Wellness that affirms the benefits of the arts. Artistic expression is essential to holistic well-being - at every age and stage of life! We offer a safe, engaging environment to explore creativity, express ideas and feelings, develop mindfulness, and tap into the power of imagination. The Indigo Project provides a variety of art classes to foster a wide array of artistic skills and techniques, STEM connections, and social and emotional learning.
Meet the Teacher: Samadhi Banks
Samadhi is a lifelong artist and university professor of Art. She previously taught K-12 art for BCSD, a South Carolina state-wide online charter school, and after-school art programs at both public and private schools. Samadhi is also a Yoga Teacher Trainer and National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach.
